Free Sunday Series Concert
Rivers School Conservatory

Deborah Yardley Beers will perform her own Scherzo 1989, along with works by Julia Perry, Tania Léon, Montague Ring (a.k.a.Amanda Aldridge), and Dianne Goolkasian Rahbee. Also featured on the program are performances by Lilit Karapetian, Klaudia Szlachta, Yoshiko Kline, Zhongling Li, Susanne Friedrich, and Ana Popa. Other performances will include works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Debussy for both solo piano and piano and strings. Admission is free.

Music for Women Festival

Pianist Jonathan Levin will perform Variations on a Laundry Song, composed by Deborah Yardley Beers. Other performers from across the United States will play music on this concert for piano solo or different chamber ensembles, composed by seven women. The festival lasts from March 5-7, 2020. The many events in this festival include performances of both new and historic music by women as well as related presentations. Tickets are free and open to the public. The festical has a $50 registration fee which allows entrance to all of the other events in the festival.

New England Piano Teachers’ Association

Deborah Yardley Beers will perform her own Scherzo 1989, along with works by Julia Perry and Tania Léon. Other members of the New England Piano Teachers’ Association will perform works for piano solo and piano four hands by Appleton, Beethoven, Grieg, Guastavino, Harteck, Heslop, Khachaturian, Liszt, Schubert, and Shostakovich.
